Young scriptwriter JIANG Jun's New Film The Bodyguard Directed by Sammo Hung Wrapped

　　The Bodyguard (originally titled The Old Guard) was a winner of Project Pitches “Special Award” in the 3rd Beijing International Film Festival-Beijing Film Market. It was in Bill Kong’s good graces, a famous film producer in Hong Kong. After one year of script development, The Bodyguard was presented by BDI Films Inc., Edko (Beijing) Films Limited, Edko Films Limited, Irresistible Alpha Limited, Focus Films Limited and Good Friends Entertainment Limited Sdn Bhd. Produced by Bill Kong and starring Sammo Hung and Andy Lau who are also the director and producer respectively, the film completed principal photography in October 2014.　　

　　Shot in three regions in China and Russia, the story happened in a small town at the border between the two countries. Filming alongside the Razdolnaya River (or Suifen River) in the frontier, the story’s main setting, since early June 2014, the crew went to Razdolnaya River and Mudanjiang River to choose architecture with the greatest local characteristics and even shot in Vladivostok, the largest Russian city in Far East.　

　　Besides protagonists such as Sammo Hung, Andy Lau, FENG Jiayi,LI, Qinqin and Jacqueline Chan, many stars were also invited to join in, including William Feng, ZHU Yuchen, Eddie Peng, HU Jun, Hark Tsui, Karl Maka, Dean Shek and SONG Jia. As the leading star among Hong Kong’s “Seven Little Fortunes”, Sammo Hung invited his junior fellow apprentices to be guest performers, including Yuen Biao, Yuen Qiu, Yuen Wah, Yuen Bao and Yuen Ting.

　　JIANG Jun was graduated from the Department of Theatre, Film & Television of the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts. With ten-year’s experience in directing advertisement, he won a great many advertising awards at home and abroad.
