Synopsis：The director of the press conference announces that 'Kono speech' needs to be revised. Marunae attempts to kill the director with a pistol, but fails. Marunae claims that he was a recruiter of the comfort women and he too abused those women. The Japanese government tells Hayashi, the son of Marunae, that he should make a choice between imprisoning his father for attempt to murder or confining him in a mental hospital. Hayashi chooses the latter. Having to endure the shame after his father’s confession, he even hesitates to marry the woman he loves. Hayashi decides to visit Korea to face his shadow.
