(I) Film Music Forum
Time: 13:30-17:00, April 27, 2012
Venue: Lecture Hall of Central Conservatory of Music
Theme: World famous filmmakers, directors and critics from both home and abroad, were invited to talk under the theme “Explore the beauty of music in films”. With their own experiences in film music creation, they discussed the status quo and development trend of film music creation in both Chinese and international works.

(II) Sino-Foreign Film Cooperation Forum
Sino-Foreign Film Cooperation Forum was composed of two parts, namely, Sino-Foreign Film Cooperation Forum and Sino-Foreign Film Co-production Forum.
1. Sino-Foreign Film Cooperation Forum
Time: 9:00-16:00, April 24, 2012
Venue: China National Film Museum
(1) Themed Forum: Co-production is the inevitable choice of film development.
The forum was aimed at introducing the status quo of China’s film industry, promoting China’s film co-production policies and results, sharing experiences of successful cases of co-production, enhancing understanding of development and characteristics of other countries’ and regions’ film industries with cooperative potentials, and studying what benefits 3D technology would bring about to Sino-Foreign film co-production. Meanwhile, the Forum was committed through Sino-Foreign film cooperation negotiation to exploiting more films themes and cooperation models that would produce win-win results in the context of globalization, promoting all-round Sino-Foreign film cooperation and integration, and helping Chinese film featuring China’s core values and Chinese cultural thoughts go global through cooperation.

(2) Forum: 3D Technology and Development of Film Cooperation
Film development is closely associated with technological development. As digital technology had a profound impact on film industry, 3D technology has once again lifted the film industry to a new height, which has produced unprecedented influence on the whole film industry in the world. With increasing demand for 3D films, apart from 2D version, many blockbusters have been filmed additionally in 3D and IMAX 3D technologies, which have not only made them more attractive but also met popular demand for 3D films.

(III) Summit Forum of World-Renowned Film Companies
Time: 14:30-17:00, April 24, 2014
Venue: Multifunction Hall, First Floor, China National Convention Center
Theme: The summit forum was a platform for exchanges between renowned Chinese and international film companies. 10 senior executives from both home and abroad were invited, many of who addressed such themes as “Strategies to Promote Core Competitiveness of Film Companies” and “Film Cooperation Opportunity in the Context of Global Cultural Difference”. The globally-positioned forum was aimed at building platform for exchanges between domestic and overseas film companies, promoting mutually beneficiary cooperation and boosting the core influence of the film festival.
Theme One: Strategies to Promote Core Competitiveness of Film Companies
Core competitiveness of film companies refers to a kind of internal capability that a film company has exclusively owned and is of long-term competitiveness in the film market. Under the theme, speaker discussed the major content and sources of core competitiveness of film companies, as well as approaches and strategies to enhance it according to the current development of film companies in the world.

Under the theme, speakers discussed how to perceive those differences and seek cooperation opportunity from them in context of globalization so as to achieve organic integration of essence of different culture as well as common development and progress.
