Rajkumar Hirani is a well-known Indian director who scripted and directed three most popular Indian films in recent years. His maiden work Munnabhai MBBS was a National Film Award winning humanity comedy watched by millions of Indians, followed by his second film Lage Raho Munna Bhai, which was acclaimed by critics and the public and won the National Film Award again. His third film 3 Idiots, which was a super hit at the box office, was considered the most successful film in India and won him the National Film Award for the third time. It is learnt that these three films together have won more than 100 general and critical awards.
