"Shenzhen Luohu District Film and Television Artists Association was officially established on Jan 13, 2001, a professional people’s organization approved by the Publicity Department of Luohu District Party Committee. While forging a strong bond between film and television arts community, the association also acts as a strong force to facilitate the prosperity of the film and television arts industry in Luohu District. The association organizes and carries out various work, encompassing trainings, on-the-spot art practice, awards & festivals, exchange of attainments, academic studies & seminars, publishing & publicity, etc. Shenzhen Luohu District Film and Television Artists Association is a communication platform for local film and television productions in Shenzhen. Since its establishment, the association has built a reputation among the industry by producing a number of award-winning film and TV works, winning numerous awards on both national and provincial level, including national awards such as “China TV Golden Eagle Award” and “Starlight Award”. In 2021, Guangzhou Film Production & Training Base was set up in Luohu, which further promotes the development of film & TV arts industry. After years of efforts and heritage, the association has reserved and nurtured a large number of outstanding film and television talents, pulling together the old, middle and young generations. It creates a film and television talent pool including directors, screenwriters, photographers, post-production, etc. for film and television industry in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao. The association currently has 80 members, including 5 national members, 8 provincial members, 2 senior titles and 4 deputy senior titles. Its functions cover the entire media industry chain such as film and television production, creative planning, special effects production, etc., with a goal to bring the film and television production in full bloom."
