Less Cost & Higher Efficiency—A New Era for TV-Series Sector

Introduction: The 12th BJIFF Organizing Committee has recently held a press conference announcing the 12th BJIFF would be held in Beijing from August 13 to 20, 2022. With the theme "United We Advance", the 12th BJIFF includes nine sections: the Tiantan Award, Opening Ceremony and Red Carpet, Beijing Film Panorama, Theme Forum, Beijing Film Market, Film Carnival, Beijing College Student Film Festival, Closing & Awards Ceremony, and "Film+".
Recent years have seen the drastic changes of the film & television industry, as well as the huge challenges for platforms and producers. Entertainment Capital that has paid close attention to the development of the film & television industry for years will organize a theme forum: Less Cost & Higher Efficiency—A New Era for TV-Series Sector at the invitation of the 12th BJIFF Organizing Committee. We have invited several industrial pioneers to discuss how to create better contents when "less cost and higher efficiency" are emphasized at present.
 
 
MPA Workshop

Introduction: The theme of this year's "MPA Workshop" is "Building the Audiovisual Content Ecology in the Web3.0 Era". Many hot topics such as the ecological construction of film and television content in Web3.0 era in multiple dimensions are discussed from different perspectives, such as the extensive application of 3D and AR/VR in film and television, the improvement of film production methods and audience experience by digital virtual and AI technologies, and the profound changes that the meta-universe will bring to film and television ecology in the future. Through the experience sharing and thought exchange of the panelists, we hope to take the opportunity of the meta-universe application to size up the situation, make suggestions for the ecological development of China's audiovisual entertainment content, and put forward some useful thoughts and suggestions.
 
 
Film Location Forum

Venue: Hongyan Hall, Beijing Yanqi Lake International Conference Center
Introduction: Both the film and culture & tourism are facing the challenges of higher market demand and enhanced industrial value. Along with the challenges, they are facing the opportunity of crossover development. How to create, leverage and implement attractive policies? All these are critical to the sustainable development of the film location economy and the benefits of all stakeholders. The BJIFF and the Culture and Tourism Committee under the China Culture Administration Association hope to set up a dialogue and resource platform via the forum, and inject new vitality for the film & television industry and the culture & tourism industry through the film location economy. The forum will underline the impact of the film & television industry on local tourism, and discuss how to develop and operate the film location economy.
