Synopsis
In a small village in Anatolia, at the foothills of the mountains, Ali resists against the domination of landlords and local gangs, while attempting to regain his wife's love and affection. His life depends on waging — and winning — a battle between good and evil.

Cemil Ağacıkoğlu is Istanbul-based writer and director. He wrote and directed four feature films beginning in 2011, several of which were selected for the main competition at festivals such as Montreal and Sarajevo. His 5th feature film The Reeds is co-produced with TRT and supported by Ministry of Culture.
