Global Sellers Shine at BJIFF, Showcasing Annual International Film Highlights!

Published Time:2025-03-29
International sales companies, which act as critical hubs in the global film industry chain, remain committed to facilitating the efficient flow of cross-border film and television resources. They reach global markets with diverse cinematic content from Europe, Asia, North America, and other regions via professional curation, copyright acquisition, and distribution promotion. This helps high-quality works from various cultural backgrounds reach a larger audience. They not only broaden viewers' choices but also promote cross-cultural dialogue, injecting vitality into the global film ecosystem.
This vitality continues to unfold at this International Lounge. During last year's Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF), the International Lounge facilitated over 120 industry meetings in just three days, enabling dozens of Chinese and international film and television companies to engage in highly productive exchanges and negotiations. Among them, Chinese company BlueMedia Times struck a deal with French film company Charades for Flow, which was released domestically on February 28 this year. Additionally, Australia's renowned Little Monster Entertainment learned about the project Caught by the Tides during negotiations. Ultimately, through continuous communication with the renowned French company MK2, they successfully completed the deal and secured the film's distribution rights in Australia and New Zealand.
