Feng Xiaogang, Chinese Director, Screenwriter and Actor
Feng Xiaogang’s The Dream Factory ushered in the era of Chinese New Year blockbusters in mainland China with a box-office miracle of 36 million yuan, and won the Best Picture at the 21st Hundred Flowers Awards. From 2007 to 2009, his directorial work Assembly claimed awards at the Hundred Flowers Awards, Huabiao Film Awards and Hong Kong Film Awards. Anthony LaMolinara’s representative works include Spider-Man 2, the Toy Story series, and Avatar. In the early 1990s, LaMolinara served as an animation director at Pixar Animation Studios, contributing to the groundbreaking production of Toy Story. Subsequently, he received three consecutive Academy Award nominations for Best Visual Effects for his work on Stuart Little, Hollow Man, and Spider-Man. He won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for his revolutionary visual effects on Spider-Man 2 in 2005. Additionally, he was deeply involved in pre-production development of Avatar.

Wei Xiang’s representative works include Too Cool to Kill, the Pegasus series, Hello Mr. Billionaire, Successor and Lose to Win. In 2018, he played the football coach famous for the line “Three bites for one pig” in the film Hello Mr. Billionaire, and his brief yet memorable performance of just a few minutes became a classic in the audience’ s mind. In 2022, his first comedy film as the leading actor, Too Cool to Kill, was released, grossing over 2.6 billion yuan at the box office. Later, he won the honor of the Most Media-Focused Supporting Actor at the 22nd China Movie Channel Media Focus Unit for his role in Detective Chinatown 1900. Iván Fund’s representative works include The Lips, Still, Dusk Stone, The Message, etc. In 2010, he co-directed the film The Lips with Santiago Loza, which was selected for the Un Certain Regard section at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival. In 2021, his film Dusk Stone was selected for the Venice Days Section of the 78th Venice International Film Festival, where it won the Horizons Award, and was also selected for the 69th San Sebastián International Film Festival. In 2025, his new film The Message was selected for the main competition at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, and it won the Silver Bear Jury Prize. It was also selected for the main competition at the 15th Beijing International Film Festival, where it received the Tiantan Award for Best Artistic Contribution, Best Cinematography, and Best Supporting Actress.

CHANG CHIA-LU, Screenwriter and Executive Producer from Taiwan, China
Chang Chia-lu’s representative works include A World Without Thieves, The Message, and Mojin: The Lost Legend, etc. Starting from 2010, he wrote the screenplay for three installments of the Detective Dee film series: Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame, Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon, and Detective Dee: The Four Heavenly Kings. His screenplay for Mojin: The Lost Legend earned a nomination for Best Screenplay at the 23rd Beijing College Student Film Festival. Chang Chia-lu balances commercial success with artistic pursuit in Chinese film industry. He remains actively engaged at the forefront of the film industry through his mastery of genre film narration and his support for young filmmakers.
