Synopsis
Raised as an orphan, Defne, a cranky newbie psychic, finds herself in the ancient town of Side (Antalya), accompanied by the ghosts of a Marxist revolutionary, a prostitute and a primeval priestess, as she searches for her long lost mother.

Emine Yildirim is an award-winning screenwriter and producer. After graduating from METU Business Administration, she pursued a career in film and attended the Bilgi University Film and Cinema Studies MA Program. She has produced films such as Siren’s Call (2018, Tokyo IFF Main Competition), The Impeccables (2013, Busan FF). She has also written the screenplay of The Impeccables which garnered her a Best Screenplay Award from Ankara FF. Her directorial debut Gündüz Apollon Gece Athena / Apollon By Day Athena By Night (Berlinale FF Script Station) had it’s World Premiere in the Tokyo IFF 2024 where it won the Asian Future Best Film Awar
