BJIFF’s Project Pitches was initiated at the 2nd BJIFF. Based on the Project Pitches Transaction Platform, the event aims to develop an integrated project transaction platform for quality film production projects that covers training, review and selection, support, negotiation, incubation, tracking and showcasing. Select film projects will be fully matchmade with factors along the film supply chain, and successfully incubated into prominent films with market potential.

　　Over the past eight years, the event managed to discover a lot of outstanding potential creators, help their projects transform from stories to films on big screens. During such process, a total of 3,666 entries were submitted to the Project Pitches Transaction Platform, and more than 200 entries were selected. Representative films include the Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains, Summer Detective, Mountain Cry, Seventy-seven Days, Wisdom Tooth and Suburban Birds.
