The 10th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) online exhibition will lasts a month from August 21 to September 22. According to the newly announced list of Premiere, a number of highly anticipated international films, including Undine and The Painted Bird, will be shown at the online exhibition.

　　Undine, which had a hard time getting tickets for its offline screenings, will be available online on September 9. This film is directed by "Berlin School" representative director Christian Petzold, the first out of trio of spirit movies. Undine was a legendary water elf in the Middle Ages, but Undine was set in present-day Berlin. In this film, the heroine Undine’s boyfriend broke up with her suddenly. According to an old legend, Undine would kill the man who betrays her and returns to the water. But Undine tries to resist this curse and leaves Berlin in this story. She feels betrayed but chooses to flee.
