The COVID-19 pandemic generates social distancing among the crowd, rather than the separation of us from the film. At the long-overdue Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF), we are hopefully expecting to continue our commitment with this outstanding film festival with a special Beijing Film Panorama while embracing the most beautiful autumn in Beijing.

　　The 10th BJIFF Beijing Film Panorama will take place online and offline.

　　The online exhibition will be launched in partnership with iQIYI, the exclusive network platform of the BJIFF, from August 21 to September 22, 2020. Some 250 films across 12 sections have been prepared for you! Meanwhile, we will set various activities online, such as inviting the cast & crew, curators and critics for advance screening promotion and the experts and scholars for short film classes and opening “online cinemas” to improve viewing experience.

　　A “TV Screenings” special will be set at the Beijing Film Panorama, during which 10 Chinese films and 10 overseas films will be screened repeatedly at Beijing Satellite TV, BTV Movie & TV Channel and BTV Youth Channel on the afternoon and at night from August 21 to 30, 2020.

　　Approximately a hundred films at home and abroad will be screened at 18 cinemas in an “exquisite and wonderful” manner on August 22-30, 2020. At the 10th Anniversary of the BJIFF, we will review the classics in the history and create the legends to the future. We believe each film in the cinema will shine with its life.

　　The outdoor film projection is another highlight of the offline exhibition. Every night from August 22 to 29, 2020, an excellent film will be screened at several places like Inside-out Art Zone in Beijing as an attempt of promotion in communities and for masses. It is expected to become a “night feast” for the people in Beijing.

　　Besides, audiences will also enjoy the splendid VR works of the world at the Virtual Reality Section.
