The Art Film Forum — Cross the Borders will be held at the Beijing Yanqi Lake International Convention & Exhibition Center on August 25, 2020. Dozens of Chinese and foreign guests are invited, including directors, screenwriters and producers of art films, heads of cinema circuits and film distributors, film scholars and chief editors of renowned public accounts. The guests come from backgrounds involving various processes of art film promotion, and they will discuss opportunities and challenges as well as the future of art films.

　　The theme of the forum is “Cross the Borders”, aiming to shed light on the space and roadmap for development of art films against the backdrop of iteration of technologies, carriers and notions; discuss how to promote co-existence, complimentary and collaborative growth of commercial and art films, traditional and emerging platforms against the backdrop of diversified industry development.

　　The forum consists of theme releases, keynote speeches and theme salons. In-depth discussions will be hosted regarding restoration and storage of art films, creation and production, distribution and screening, promotion and international circulation as well as other aspects.

　　In addition, the theme of “Reignition of Light of Art” will be launched at the forum, along with the announcement of the Beijing Film Panorama for excellent Chinese art films. All relevant resources will be pooled together to select premium content to contribute to the recovery and prosperity of the film industry.
