Filmmakers to Deliver Speeches on Chinese Films

  Fulfill Decade Dream, Advance with Mission

  The 10th anniversary of the Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) established in 2011 is a review of its previous results and marks the start of a new journey. The past decade has seen a great leap of Chinese films in box office, film genre, shooting technique, stories and feelings. China is forging forward from a "large film country" into "a film power".

  At the Launch Ceremony of the 10th BJIFF on August 22, Zhang Yimou, a film director; Wu Jing, Ambassador for the 10th BJIFF; Yu Dong, Founder and Chairman of Bona Film Group; Fu Ruoqing, Vice Chairman and General Manager of China Film Co., Ltd. and Chairman of Huaxia Film Distribution Co., Ltd.; Cao Yin, Director of the China Movie Channel (CCTV6); Sun Xianghui, Director of the China Film Archive; Huang Huilin, Senior Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Beijing Normal University; and Chen Daoming, President of the China Film Association and a renowned actor will deliver speeches on Chinese films.
