With the theme of "Scientific and Technological Innovation in Huairou, Pursuit of Film Dreams", the Film Carnival of the 11th BJIFF begins on September 19 and ends on October 6. In addition to the State Production Base of China Film Group, several new venues will be added, including Flower Sea of the Film Town, Deer World Theme Park and Yangsong Town Comprehensive Cultural Center. A total of 46 interactive activities of film technologies will be presented in four major sectors: “Illusion & Films”, “Charisma & Films”, “Love & Films” and “Childhood & Films”. A number of off-line activities have been curated for this year’s Film Carnival, including the immersive experience of the Flower Sea of the Film Town, film and TV animation modeling exhibition, film and TV-themed light show, parent-child theme interactive experience, and film and TV related theatrical performance, allowing visitors to fully feel the beauty of film, technology, landscape and the motherland.

 

The Film Carnival will be provided with night activities for the first time to drive the regional nighttime economy through amazing nighttime public activities at the Flower Sea of the Film Town and the Deer World, including the “film cultural feast”, hundred-scene film-themed styling, changeable light show, and a hundred film showings.
