The 11th BJIFF
Meet with Southeast Asia – “Guest of Honor” Project of Beijing Film Market
The “Guest of Honor Project for ASEAN” of the 11th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) is to be held by Beijing Film Market and supported by ASEAN-China Centre, a one-stop information and activity center and an intergovernmental organization between China and ten ASEAN countries engaged in promoting the practical communication and cooperation for China and ASEAN countries in trade, investment, education, culture, tourism, information media and other fields.

2021 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of China-ASEAN dialogue relations. With focus on Thailand and Indonesia, the 11th BJIFF will invite important domestic film companies and institutions from the two ASEAN countries with their key projects to Beijing Film Market. While providing publicity and promotion support for the projects, Beijing Film Market will also recommend excellent domestic projects to overseas companies in the “Guest of Honor” Project for win-win cooperation.
Both the Exhibition and the Market Screenings of the 11th BJIFF Beijing Film Market are under in-depth contact with the "Guest of Honor". In terms of the Exhibition, Thai companies such as Five Star Production, Nob Productions, Right Beyond and The Monk Studios bring us various film projects, covering comedy, fantasy, thriller, horror, love and animation. Committed to promoting film and TV exchanges and cooperation between China and Indonesia, Nanyang Bridge Media shows a profusion of excellent local projects, of which two films, Susi Susanti: Love All and A Man Called Ahok are selected to be screened during the Market Screenings. The two films are about modern Indonesian legends, with strong audio-visual effect and high degree of completion, and demonstrate the extraordinary filmmaking capacity of Indonesia.

In addition to the Exhibition and Market Screenings, this year's "Guest of Honor" Project will also introduce the supporting policies for filmmaking in Thailand and Indonesia, thus creating more possibilities for our cooperation in the future.
The 11th BJIFF Beijing Film Market is looking forward to your attention!
