　　Synopsis:On September 8, 1947, the Opera’s Legendary Figure Meng Xiaodong's“ Sacrifice” was staged at the China Grand Opera House. This was the last public performance of the “Emperor Dong” to bid farewell to the stage. Meng Xiaodong's two performances of "Sacrifice" were hailed as "the best sound in Guangling", creating a miracle in the history of Chinese Peking Opera and even the history of Chinese theater. 71 years later, the contemporary Peking Opera master Wang Peiyu, known as the "Little Emperor Dong", performed the same play at the same time and in the same place, with everything from the performance, singing, orchestra to the stage presentation being exactly the same.
