The 11th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF)--Game-Based Animated Films Section is about to take place at State Production Base of China Film Group from September 22 to 23, 2021. The festival was guided by the Organizing Committee Office of the BJIFF and the Publicity Department of Beijing Huairou District Committee of the Communist Party of China, hosted by Shanghai Qianjing Cultural Media Co., Ltd., organized by Poly Pictures Investment Co., Ltd. and streamed by Netease CC.

 

 

On December 16, 2020, the 39th OCA General Assembly officially included e-sports into the Asian Games Hangzhou 2022. This year's 11th BJIFF will still deliver the Game-Based Animated Films Section which debuted last year, and select popular and influential games for a tournament, so as to break the barriers and boundaries between the film & television industry and the e-sports industry, and create a more open platform for the integration of films with games and animations. While opening up a new road for common development, the section aims to popularize the knowledge of e-sports, foster the positive e-sports concept of adolescents, and integrate e-sports with the film industry more deeply, so as to create more opportunities and infinite possibilities for the film & television to break the dimension wall.

 

With the theme "Youth Flashes in E-sports Era", the 11th BJIFF--Game-Based Animated Films Section has two parts: "Forum of Game-Based Animated Films Section" and "Star Tournament". We have the great honor to invite actor Chen He and Jacky Heung as co-initiators calling on their friends to join the tournament for a wonderful showdown.

The co-initiators have not only invited their friends to join this year's Game-Based Animated Films Section, but also sent good wishes and invited film and game fans to follow the section. It is believed that the section will give you a surprise!

 

 

 

This year marks the opening of a new decade for the BJIFF. The past decade has recorded the development track and important moments of China's film industry. At present, the film industry is forging ahead, breaking the dimension wall, integrating films, e-sports and animations, to promote the common development of the industries, create new opportunities and tell stories of crossover integration with films.
