On September 26, the Young Filmmakers Forum – Industrial Consciousness and Mainstream Expression of the Beijing International Film Festival · the 28th Beijing College Student Film Festival was successfully concluded. Several young filmmakers and producers at the forum discussed the source of films with focus on the present and future of China’s film industry, and expressed sharp views based on the characteristics of industry and art and their own valuable experience.

 

The forum was jointly hosted by the Organizing Committee of the Beijing International Film Festival and Beijing Normal University. During the forum, all the guests had in-depth discussions on creation, industrial support, production methods and other issues, bringing us a lot of valuable words. The creative consciousness and pioneering ideas of the young filmmakers also stroke a chord among the participants.
