In 2020, the Party Central Committee set the goal of developing into a cultural power by 2035, to promote the prosperity of China's cultural industry. As an integral part of cultural power development, Chinese films are forging into a new stage of high-quality development. The massive and industrialized development of Chinese films needs to be empowered by finance and investment. 

 

On the afternoon of September 22, the China Film Investment and Financing Summit of the 11th Beijing International Film Festival will be held at Beijing Radio & Television Station (BRTV). Domestic film authorities and financial professionals will be invited to the summit to discuss the relations between film & television investment and financing and cultural power development, the path of realization, the existing problems and solutions.

 

The summit will continue to explore the current situation, law and problems of film investment and financing, to strengthen mutual trust, accelerate cooperation and jointly promote cultural power development. A professional research report will be released at the summit.

 

The Summit will be broadcast on platforms such as xuexi.cn, yangshipin.cn and iQIYI (“Online BJIFF” Section).
