The 11th BJIFF - Bille August Masterclass will be broadcast on iQIYI ("Online BJIFF" Section) on the afternoon of September 28. Bille August, a Danish director, screenwriter and producer, is invited to share his experience and wisdom of creation, along with Scholar Wang Yan as guest moderator.

August was granted Palme d'Or at the Festival de Cannes twice for Pelle the Conqueror and The Best Intentions, becoming the third director included into the "club of two-time Golden Palm winners". In 2017, he served as the Jury President of Tiantan Award at the 7th BJIFF.

The Masterclass will be broadcast on Beijing Satellite TV, as well as other platforms such as xuexi.cn, yangshipin.cn and iQIYI ("Online BJIFF" Section).
