Development of Film Industry Driven by Technology and Concerted Efforts Made to Create Light - Hot Discussion on “Tech-Powered Films” Conducted on the 1st China Movie Capital Development Forum
On the morning of September 28, the 1st China Movie Capital Development Forum, one of the main forums of the 11th Beijing International Film Festival, will be held at Hong Yan Hall, Beijing Yanqi Lake International Conference Center. Celebrities in the film and television industry and scientific and technological circle (including Zhang Jizhong, Yu Dong, Ya Ning and Zhang Shuangnan) and executives from Zeiss, Dolby and other well-known enterprises, will gather by Yanqi Lake to share their ideas together. It is reported that the Forum with the theme of "Tech-Powered Films, Intelligent Future” will focus on the current hot topics of Chinese film industry in the form of keynote speeches and high-end dialogues to discuss such topics as the creation of a new pattern for the integrated development of one area and three science cities with science cities as the mainstay, development of film and television digital industry, the future development plan of Chinese film capital, the creation of a "micro center", the international consumer center city integrating science and film, and the never-ending film festival. During the forum, Huairou District will also sign the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Jointly Promoting the High-quality Development of China (Huairou) Film and Television Industry Demonstration Zone with Beijing Municipal Bureau of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television and Beijing Municipal Film Administration, so as to carry out long-term, stable and comprehensive strategic cooperation in the planning and construction of industrial parks, the integrated development of science and technology and cultural industries, major festivals and exhibitions, and the special service mode of "Two zones" development, etc., and contribute to the construction of China (Huairou) Film and Television Industry Demonstration Zone in the field of film, radio and television. Meanwhile, Huairou Cultural Promotion Center will sign a strategic cooperation agreement with Beijing Film Society, and 30 enterprises including Beijing Offcn Education & Technology, Ding-Dee Technology and Focus Media will sign contracts to settle down in China Movie Capital.
In the new era of "telling Good Chinese stories and spreading good Chinese voices", scientists and artists will present a Huairou-featured "development blueprint" for the vast number of filmmakers and fans at the Forum. Let us look forward to further realizing the deep integration of science and technology with film and television, and putting forward "Initiatives from the Film Capital" for the high-quality development of Chinese films through the holding of "the 1st China Movie Capital Development Forum of the 11th Beijing International Film Festival".
