Young Filmmakers Forum
Young Filmmakers Forum themed with “Youthful Expression and the Spirit of the Times” will focus on new faces of the youth, new trends in the industry and new thinking of the times. On the morning of August 17, the "Young Filmmakers Forum" will be held at Beijing Yanqi Lake International Convention & Exhibition Center. The whole forum will be dominated by young filmmakers to collect the vigor of youth and demonstrate the cultural confidence and responsibility of the young filmmakers.
The forum will invite representative young film directors, screenwriters, producers and scholars to discuss and share experiences on the hot topics of Chinese film creation. They will specially talk about how to combine youth expression with mainstream social values to create new aesthetic in the new era, and how to seek a balance between artistic pursuit and market value, so as to find out new ideas for film creation with the characteristics of the times.
