The Red Carpet at the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 8th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) will take place at the Beijing Yanqi Lake International Convention & Exhibition Center in April. Then hundreds of filmmakers from home and abroad will make brilliant appearance at the red carpet at the opening and closing ceremonies.

　　If you are crazy fans who are dreaming of seeing your beloved filmmakers, approaching them and interacting with them, this is your chance!

　　To show the openness and wide involvement of BJIFF, display the charm and passion of cultural Beijing, liven up site atmosphere and make filmmakers from around the world feel at home, the Organizing Committee has decided to recruit 200 fans (100 for the opening ceremony and the closing ceremony each) to make a red carpet fans group which will cheer more than 500 filmmakers at the red carpet at the opening and closing ceremonies.

　　Then, on both sides of the brilliant red carpet, you will be waiting for your beloved filmmakers to appear. When they walk down the red carpet, we expect you to burst into cheers and applause, to make the world feel the craze of Chinese fans.

　　Of course we have some small requirements for you:

　　1. We hope that you will abide by state laws and regulations, love the country and love Beijing. As BJIFF is an annual film event showing China to the world and representing the image of Beijing, we hope there will be no cacophony during the festival.

　　2. We hope you will have enough passion for films and a common sense of films

　　3. We hope you are passionate, outgoing and energetic. When music starts at the red carpet, you will burst into passion, root for your beloved filmmakers and cheer Chinese film art.

　　4. We hope you are healthy, graceful and dignified so that you can show your smiles of confidence to the world on behalf of China and Beijing when cameras slip past.

　　5. We hope you will obey the order of the Organizing Committee and field staff. After all, a major event involving 1,000 participants permits no mistakes. For the sake of your safety and the safety of your beloved filmmakers, please observe the order.
