The International Film Market Forum of the 8th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) continued with abundant and exciting activities on April 17, 2018.

　　Today's master class ushered in Jean-Marie Dura, former European Managing Director of French UGC Cinemas and former CEO of French Ymagis. He introduced the history and future trend of European cinema in details, and discussed with Yang Ying, director of the international department of Movie View, the advantages and difficulties of the distribution and screening of French films, the future development ideas, and the good points that deserves the learning of Chinese cinemas.

In the morning, Cai Ting, the former CGV university team leader gave a deliberate lecture on the “Standardization of Cinema Management System”, and Wang Yanze, Marketing Director of Sichuan Pacific Theatre Management Co., Ltd. summarized the practical experience in the operation of cinemas by replaying “the success stories of small and medium-sized urban cinemas with annual revenues of more than 20 million yuan. In the afternoon, Wang Zheng, General Manager of Shandong Luxin Cinema Line, and Yu Zhe, General Manager of Shangmu On-Demand Cinema shared their ideas respectively on the characteristic operation of Luxin Cinema and the new format of on-demand cinemas in 2018.
