Wang Zhi plays Han Duoduo in The Wandering Earth II
In The Wandering Earth II, a newly-released sci-fi blockbuster, Han Duoduo starred by Wang Zhi has broken the stereotype that sci-fi films are dotted with a “vase role”. Thanks to her wonderful performance, she has gained countless followers, received high praise, and has been praised by fans as “a strong rose of wisdom and courage”.
Looking back on the past, a number of excellent domestic films have started from the Beijing Film Panorama of the BJIFF, stepped into the public eye, and moved towards the international stage. This year, the Beijing Film Panorama section has also prepared a selection of domestic films for film fans, which will be either displayed in Retrospective of the Tiantan Award Jury President Zhang Yimou, Chinese New Wave and other sections, or included in Restored Classics, Retrospective, Dimension, Women's Voice, Beijing International Sports Film Week and other sections, enhancing each other's beauty with other films. We believe that no matter well-known classic masterpieces, or select surprising new works, will let the audience feel the infinite charm of Chinese films.
