As a key part of the “Everlasting BJIFF”, the BJIFF has been actively partnering with foreign film festivals and exhibitions in the global promotion of Chinese films for years to tell Chinese stories well and publicize China. Thanks to collaboration with the CAE, the BJIFF included four outstanding Chinese films, namely Cliff Walkers, Beyond the Skies, Raging Fire, and 1921, in the Chinese Film Industry Exhibition at the 46th TIFF held in 2021. In 2022, BJIFF recommended the Kong and Jigme, a film shortlisted for the 12th BJIFF, to the Chinese Film Industry Exhibition at the 47th TIFF.

Online Chinese Film Industry Exhibition at the 47th TIFF in 2022
Being the first international film festival that resumes offline exhibition in China, the 13th BJIFF attained fruitful outcomes. 2023 also saw the full return and recovery of the domestic film market and film industry. It becomes more urgent than ever to help domestic films go global. As one of most prestigious film festivals worldwide, the TIFF attracts film fans, film companies and filmmakers from around the globe every year. Moreover, the TIFF serves as a key part of the North American film market and a major global film copyright transaction platform. The 5th Chinese Film Industry Exhibition calls for excellent Chinese films to be part of the TIFF this year, and make themselves visible to global filmmaking counterparts.
