The 10th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) running from August 22 to 29 in Beijing has concluded. The public welfare Eye Dotting activity Film Revival was co-launched by the BJIFF and the King of Lion Dance ASING at the film event. During the kick-off ceremony, a number of well-known actors such as Tang Guoqiang, Wu Gang, Hai Qing, and Du Jiang, as well as Xu Tao, Executive Deputy Secretary General of the Organizing Committee of the 10th BJIFF, attended the event, during which they expressed their ardent encouragement to filmmakers, extended best wishes for the early resumption of the film industry and placed high hopes for the vigorous development of the industry. Besides, other movie stars including Yao Chen, Cao Bingkun, Zhang Lanxin, Li Yunrui, Cheng Teng, Li Wei, Han Bowen, and Xu Hongyu also participated in the event, in a hope of accelerating the resumption of film industry and boost the morale and confidence of filmmakers.
Against the backdrop of COVID-19 outbreak, this year’s BJIFF is of great significance. The lion eyes dotted during the public-good event Film Revival will be housed at the China National Film Museum for exhibition.

With the movie The Eight Hundred hitting Chinese cinemas, a rising number of movie goers would like to watch films at cinemas. We believe that the film industry is ushering in a new turnaround and the recovery is picking up steam.
In spite of suffering a lot in the pandemic, the public welfare event Film Revival expects more people in the film industry to work hard to press ahead, thereby leading Chinese film industry to a new height.
