Film Power Forum on International Cooperation—Cultural Exchange with Films
The Film Power Forum on International Cooperation of the 13th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) will be held on April 24 in Beijing. The forum, themed “Cultural Exchange with Films”, is hosted by the BJIFF Organizing Committee and co-organized by the China National Film Museum and the China Film Association. Domestic and overseas filmmakers will be invited to discuss how to promote industrial cooperation and cultural exchanges, and enhance exchanges and mutual learning between human civilizations.

  

▍International film exchanges and cooperation, cultural collision for common prosperity

The forum will invite top filmmakers, industry leaders and experts and scholars from Russia, France, the US and China to discuss cultural exchanges in the film industry, with the aim of enhancing international exchanges and cooperation on films. Attendees, based on their experiences, will explore innovative practices of cross-cultural cooperation, share their insights on international film cooperation, discuss the diversity and inclusiveness of film culture, and look for more cultural convergence points.

 

▍Focus on film development trends, discuss prospects of future cooperation
The forum will discuss new paths of international film exchanges and cooperation in future in the context of international cultural diversity, including production & creation, platform building, exchanges, mutual learning and integration in international cooperation. It will also discuss how to maximally realize possible cooperation, establish a better partnership, create complementary modes of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, promote the communication and exchange of talents, and improve the technological level and innovation capacity.
