Good News! BRTV Won a Major Award and Multiple Nominations at the Golden Eagle Awards
On October 20, the 32nd China TV Golden Eagle Awards were announced, with Beijing Radio & Television Station (BRTV)'s The Yellow River winning the Best TV Documentary award.
At the same time, BRTV received several nominations: Singing for the Central Axis of Beijing (Season 3) was nominated for Best TV Variety (Literary and Art), host Li Jie was nominated for Best TV Hostess, and Kunpeng Strikes the Waves was nominated for Outstanding TV Series. Scriptwriters Wang Xiaoqiang and Yu Xiaoqian from the Forbidden City Film Company, a subsidiary of BRTV, were nominated for Best TV Screenwriter.
Additionally, the BRTV co-produced and aired dramas Bright Future, Wild Bloom, A Dream of Splendor, and The Knockout were awarded Outstanding TV Series, while The Story of Xing Fu, There Will Be Ample Time, Imperfect Victim, Under the Microscope, Ordinary Greatness, The Examination for Everyone, and The Pearl River Family were nominated for various nominations.

It explores the river’s geography, civilization, ecology, economy, and art from a panoramic, multifaceted perspective, offering an exquisite audiovisual experience. The documentary opens up a panoramic view of the Yellow River and its historical transformation over five millennia. Through the lens of this mighty river, it showcases the grandeur of a prosperous era and the governance of China and heralds a new chapter of "the Yellow River" in the new era. By skillfully blending grand narrative with detailed storytelling, The Yellow River delivers a compelling, emotionally resonant tale. The documentary vividly portrays the stories of the Yellow River, reflecting the extraordinary wisdom of China's modernization path. It highlights the cultural depth and contemporary relevance of documentary filmmaking, becoming a masterpiece capable of sparking intellectual resonance, cultural empathy, and artistic sharing.
