Background
Since its 14th edition, the Beijing International Film Festival has officially launched the “AIGC Film Unit”, the world’s first film festival section dedicated to co-creation with AI. This pioneering initiative aims to explore the vast potential of AI in the realm of digital film-making and to promote the deep integration of AIGC technologies with cinematic art.
To this end, in 2025, the 15th AIGC Film Unit will welcome “KLING AI” as its “exclusive technology partner”, providing comprehensive support for creators across the entire AIGC film making ecosystem - from content generation and project pitches to the promotion of outstanding works, both at home and abroad.
With a vision of “globalization and inclusivity”, the 2025 AIGC Film Unit invites creators from all backgrounds to harness the power of AI and the language of cinema to deliver bold, cross-industry works that push artistic boundaries and carry both social and artistic significance.
