The Official Selection of Tiantan Award continues to be the focus, and many excellent works will hold premiere events, showcasing the diverse styles of global film creation. Finnish director Teemu Nikki, who once won the “Tiantan Award” for Best Film and other honors for The Blind Man Who Did Not Want To See Titanic, has also returned to BJIFF as a “Tiantan Award” judge to celebrate the 15th anniversary of BJIFF. He will participate in a post-screening dialogue with his award-winning works and share his creative experience with the audience. In addition, the Forum on Film Communication Influence brings together industry elites to explore the deep connection between film and contemporary communication methods, adding academic and industrial value to the film festival.
From master classes to classic celebrations, from international new film premieres to industry conversations, the fifth day of the BJIFF will present the infinite possibilities of film art with various activities.
