Founded in 2011, the Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) has been held successfully 12 times. As a major section of BJIFF, the Beijing Film Market is gradually becoming an important industrial cooperation, transaction, demonstration and promotion platform for Chinese and foreign film industries. The 12th Beijing Film Market attracted a total of 220 domestic and foreign exhibitors, received 853 entries for the Project Pitches, and achieved a record contract amount of 33.089 billion yuan. The Industry Conversations and Events & Activities set the trend of the film industry and drew wide industry attention. 

The 12th Beijing Film Market will take place online and offline from August 15 (Monday) to 18 (Thursday), 2022. Through multi-dimensional integration, the Beijing Film Market will continue to explore new possibilities of film transaction, demonstration and promotion. Under the theme of "Display, Promotion, Transaction and Exchange", the event will add "BJIFF TALENTS" to complete the closed loop of the "Project Pitches", add "Market Screenings" to continue building the "Film Copyright Transaction Platform", fully integrate quality domestic and foreign film resources, and strengthen international cooperation, so as to make new contributions to promoting the building of a national cultural center and the development of Chinese films, enhancing the international influence of Chinese culture and strengthening global cultural exchanges and cooperation.
