The Short Video Section introduced to the 12th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) is now open to the world for submissions.

With the theme of “China and the World in Shorts”, this year’s BJIFF Short Video Section encourages creators to use new technologies and platforms to get closer to the current reality, capture inspirational and touching moments in daily life, shape a complete and lively image of Chinese culture, and showcase a new China style in the new era, so as to produce excellent, insightful short video works that are down to earth and echo the times.
