Born in 1944 in Switzerland, Schwitzgebel gained a reputation for his highly experimental style of animation in the 1980s and 1990s. 18 of his works will be screened at 2024 Beijing International Film Festival, bringing audiences a gorgeous and fascinating audio-visual experience.
