Freelance journalist Pierre is hired to write a script and seeks help from the Bohemian novelist Paul due to pressing deadlines. Their meeting stems from the teleplay script they are working on, in which either Rosemonde's uncle was wounded while cleaning his rifle or Rosemonde shot him. However, when Paul meets Rosemonde in real life, the lines between fiction and reality start to dissolve.
