In this puppet animation, Chiang Kai-shek is reimagined as an ancient emperor, colluding with imperialist powers on his dragon throne and exploiting his people to build a golden palace. His tyranny is met with rising public resistance, and after his dream collapses, he remains deluded in reality, ultimately submerged by the tide of revolution. The film exposes the dictator's delusions and inevitable downfall.
