A wealthy patriarch hosts a weekend gathering at his castle to mark his sixtieth birthday, surrounded by friends and family. The atmosphere, however, feels strangely eerie, influenced by the recent suicide of his daughter two weeks earlier. When his son stands to make a toast and charges the father with the murder of his sister, it triggers a fierce backlash among the guests. The anticipated family celebration swiftly transforms into a dramatic family confrontation.
