On August 12, the red carpet for the opening ceremony of the 12th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) was held at the Beijing Yanqi Lake International Convention & Exhibition Center (BYCC). Taking the center field, this year’s BJIFF brought together a super-stellar lineup of nearly 200 guests including the cast and crew members of nearly 30 outstanding films on the red carpet, witnessing the extraordinary moment with the BJIFF and movie fans in front of flashing cameras. 　　Li Xuejian, a Chinese actor and jury president of the Tiantan Award, along with other jury members including Chinese director Frant Gwo, British director Malcolm Clarke, Chinese actress Qin Hailu, and Chinese director and actor Wu Jing, walked the red carpet, witnessing the shining moment of the 12th BJIFF with all other filmmakers together.
