The 14th BJIFF is scheduled to kick off in late April 2024. The BJIFF Organizing Committee hereby sincerely invites filmmakers, film institutions and crews from home and abroad to share the glory with us, and gather at the Red Carpet for the Opening Ceremony of the 14th BJIFF.

The future has come beneath the light and shadow. As a key promotion and distribution forefront of Chinese and even international films, the BJIFF attracts a large number of filmmakers by virtue of its unique international positioning and influence, converging stars into a vast galaxy. Thanks to elaborate production, high ratings and the support of the BJIFF platform, more and more excellent films have broken box office records again and again, and won many honors at various film festivals and exhibitions at home and abroad.

Journey to the West, Knock Knock, One and Four, Seventy-seven Days and other films have become attached to the BJIFF and displayed the mental outlook of young filmmakers at the Red Carpet for the Opening Ceremony due to their courage to explore actively and deep understanding of the times. And their appearance has also encouraged more young filmmakers to believe that passion and persistence are the most enthusiastic footnotes of youth.

Today, the BJIFF has grown into a powerful bond that gathers excellent films around the globe, and pools domestic and foreign industrial resources to promote the collaborative development of world cinema. The BJIFF supports and promotes films, and the red carpet has become a key promotion and distribution forefront for film works of many film institutions and filmmakers, as well as the focus of media coverage.
