14th BJIFF Red Carpet, A Grand Opening in A Shining Spring
Stars are shining on the shore of Yanqi Lake, as part of the spring in Beijing, caressing every corner of the site in full bloom.
On April 18, the Red Carpet for the 14th Beijing International Film Festival (BIFF) was held at Beijing Yanqi Lake International Convention & Exhibition Center. Amid the mild breeze, more than a hundred filmmakers and guests at home and abroad were present on site towards this grand film event while upholding the promise with the BJIFF.

Following the grand opening of the 14th BJIFF, let’s go deeper into more events and activities, namely the Competition Section, Tiantan Award, Opening Ceremony, Beijing Film Panorama, Theme Forum, Beijing Film Market, Film Carnival, Beijing College Student Film Festival, Closing & Awards Ceremony, and the “Film+”. “Enlightened by Films, United as One”, films are paved on this long journey, on which we move forward to the promising future of China’s film industry. Film is a language to speak with the international community, a tie to establish connections with the world, and a bright color to enlighten the future. Let’s look forward to a great success of the BJIFF amid this beautiful spring. How fantastic and marvelous it is!
