Lawyer Pang Lipeng, executive director of the Beijing Entertainment Law Society and director of the Specialized Committee on Metaverse and Digital Economy Law, is an expert in data protection and information compliance law. 

He said that the metaverse will empower the digital culture industry in an all-encompassing and three-dimensional way. Taking NFT and digital humans for example, he discussed hot issues on the IP ecological chain in the metaverse, which is very instructive sharing for business practice.

“The emergence of the metaverse may bring new challenges to the existing legal system and moral ethics,” Pang said. “However, we believe that as the wheel of history rolls on, it will open a new window to the ‘utopia’ we are pursuing, and let the light of the "metaverse" shine into our spiritual home through this window.”
