Art & Vision Certain Unit
The Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF), Wonderland. and ARTnews China jointly hosted "ART & VISION CERTAIN UNIT", which is the first film unit in China that focuses on commercial art short films and provides cross-field communication. Adhering to the core concept of "Fashion·Art·Commercialization·Creation", it aims to foster a new ecology and new cultural wave for the creation of commercial art short films in China, establish industry standards for commercial art short film, and cultivate new creators.
The Art & Vision Certain Unit makes its debut as the inaugural event dedicated to commercial art short films and their diverse cultural dimensions. It primarily aims to discover and exhibit the creative and aesthetic expressions portrayed in films. Taking advantage of the influential media platforms of Wonderland. and ARTnews China, this unit features meticulously planned film screenings and cross-cultural exchange activities each year, selecting and recognizing talented film creators and their works. These endeavors seek to offer a wealth of viewing experiences and facilitate extensive industry discussions, while also fostering the expansion of creative thinking and the birth of new works. They aim to cultivate a deeper understanding of the allure of commercial art short films among audiences, as well as professionals from the fields of art and fashion, both at home and abroad.
The Art & Vision Certain Unit jury will select 10-15 short films for the shortlist, which will encompass various genres such as art-oriented microfilms, fashion short films as commercials, and artistic advertisements.
