The 12th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF), an annual event, will return to Beijing in August 2022. The China Science and Technology Museum (CSTM) cordially invites excellent films to sign up for the Science and Technology Section.

Requirements for Subject Matters

Submittals should mainly focus their content on the promotion of scientific spirit and the spirit of scientists, the popularization of scientific knowledge, the dissemination of scientific ideas, and the advocacy of scientific methods, with their subject matters highlighting aerospace, artificial intelligence, space exploration, the history of humanity, natural environment, ocean exploration, prehistoric exploration, wildlife conservation, and science fiction, etc.

Scope of Submissions:

1. Popular science special effects films

(ball screen films, giant screen films, 4D Films)

2. Popular science documentaries 

(films about the spirit of scientists)

3. Science fiction films

The events & activities at the BJIFF feature thematic film exhibitions, science popularization activities, film forums, masterpiece selection and others. Registration for the 12th BJIFF Science and Technology Section is open. Register NOW!
